Cluster Architecture Review Committee

Review Process

A description of the internal Solaris Cluster CLARC process can be found at [1]. It is our intention that we start with this as a proven approach, and help it evolve into something which best suits the needs of the Open HA Cluster community.

Agenda

This agenda format has been chosen to mirror the internal CLARC format for initial simplicity. It will evolve. The author is the proposer of the review subject. The sponsor is customarily an experienced CLARC member who will help the author ensure that all the right information is provided, so that the review passes smoothly. They may be one and the same, and may be a real name or a genunix user name.

Review Comment Form

For the convenience of all reviewers, please use the template below when submitting comments on a document under review.

The first column is the comment number, which is your initials plus an
increasing number, e.g. "XY-1", "XY-2", "XY-3", etc.

The second column is the location in the document or module, e.g. section
number, page number, paragraph number, line number in code, etc.

The third column is the severity. If the document being inspected is an
specification or design, then this column is one of the following:

        T	technical comment
        E	editorial comment

If the inspected document is code, then this column is one of the following:

        Func	comment on functionality
        Perf	comment on performance
        CodeStd	comment on coding standards
        Design	comment on design
        Edit	editorial comment
        Cos	cosmetic comment
        Com	comment on missing comments

If you wish, you may assign a severity level 1-5 to each comment, with 1
being the highest severity, e.g. "T1", "T2", etc. These severity levels
should approximate the Sun conventions used for bug report severities. The
last column is the text of your comment.
