OGB Constitutional Amendment Process

This is a process and procedures document that is referenced by the OGB_2008/010_OpenSolaris_Constitution_2009 It is maintained by the OGB, and is expected to evolve as needed to meet the needs of the community.

Constitutional Amendment Process

The complete text of a proposed Constitutional Amendment must:

1) Formation (CG approval process)

2) Submission (process and timing) Be delivered to the OGB (some number) days prior to an election.

3) Validation. The Board Secretary will review all submitted amendments for compliance (include timing)

4) Posting. Final ballot version posted (include timing)

5) Updating. Repeat steps 1-4 if time permits...
